Return to Sender has been a powerful and impact-driven brand for 17 years and sees fair trade as a driver of sustainable development. In recent years, Return to Sender has experienced significant growth, and the ambition is to continue to grow, making an even greater impact. To realize this, Return to Sender will fall under the wings of Clip Quality Brands fall.

Return to Sender is committed to providing employment for women in the poorest regions of the world. We work together based on equality and belief in the power and self-reliance of women. The beautiful handmade home deco, gifts and fashion products each have a special story.

Time to spread our wings

The dedicated team at Return to Sender is committed every day to making the mission of Return to Sender a reality. Last year, we contributed to over 1,500 jobs by selling over 240,000 products. We are proud of this and we strive to make even more of an impact. In Clip Quality Brands we have found a wonderful company that can continue to grow Return to Sender .

The match with Clip Quality Brands

Clip Quality Brands is a family business that for 40 years has focused on creating atmosphere and experience in the home, in an honest and sustainable way. The range consists of various own brands such as Bunzlau Castle and The Table and distribution of several renowned brands such as Annie Sloan and Denby.

Thanks to years of international experience, access to its own warehouse and professional organizational structure, Return to Sender can be taken to the next level. Björn Bakker, owner Clip Quality Brands: "The mission and values of Return to Sender are fully in line with our organization and we are very happy with this step. We see many opportunities to increase the impact of Return to Sender and thus continue the mission."

Katja Schuurman steps down; a retrospective

Katja Schuurman, founder Return to Sender: "It is with great love and pride that I look back on how in the early years, together with just a few other brands, we played an important pioneering role in forever opening up the market for fair trade and sustainably produced products. When I look back I think of the beautiful collaborations with companies like HEMA and Nationale Postcodeloterij, the recognition Minister Koenders gave us by setting us as an example for 'new development cooperation', the beautiful TV programs and campaigns we made. In this way we shook up the Netherlands a bit. I am incredibly happy to see that the movement that was very small and niche when we started has grown enormously and that the market now has many wonderful impactful brands. Now I want to make room for new challenges. Of course, I am stepping down with mixed feelings. I have always had the opportunity to do this with a lot of love and joy and with wonderful, dedicated people. I am very grateful that Clip Quality Brands committed to ensuring continuity for our creators and that they want to continue the mission and vision of Return to Sender ."

We are continuing our mission!

Return to Sender remains the same, the mission remains the same and the proceeds we continue to invest to empower our creators to improve their lives and those of the entire community around them.

We assume you will also remain the same: our loyal customers and supporters of our mission!

Warm regards,

Team Return to Sender & Team Clip Quality Brands
